Meet Our Director


Hello! I’m Catarina Araújo. I started Canopy Group in 2019, wanting to create a unique offer between a traditional in-house personal assistant and a virtual assistant service that didn’t exist in the market. I understood that a business owner may not want the financial investment or the commitment of hiring someone in-house, but still wanted a PA who was highly-qualified and based in their country.

For the first two years, we grew the business as a PA and EA service. Feedback from clients led us to expand into other types of assistance services, allowing us to provide them with more holistic support. That’s when we bolstered our service offer to include housekeeping assistants for individuals who needed additional work-life balance. 

The best part of my job is watching busy clients win back their time and helping them become more productive. It’s incredibly rewarding to hear the difference our assistants make not only to their work load, but to their work-life balance in general.

On the internal side of things, I’m passionate about building a workplace where each member of our team feels heard, supported, and appreciated. My aim is to grow a business with strong corporate social responsibility that improves the lives of our clients, team members, and others.
